Baguio Part 2

So here's Part 2 of Baguio Foods! It's actually kinda hard to look for really good authentic Baguio dishes. We were asking the local people for recommendations, but the only food place that was always directed to us was the ones in Session Road. But there are mostly just fast food here, so we got the most different one. And that's the reason why we ate at the Sizzling Plate Baguio.

It's a steakhouse with a very Filipino-esque restaurant. It gets kinda smokey though sometimes because of the smoke from the sizzling plates. As their menu says, their dishes come with soup and rice-- all you have to choose are your steaks and drinks.
Cream of Mushroom Soup
Chicken Barbecue

Salisbury Steak and Egg

Filet Mignon

Porterhouse

Their meals are not bad (although not something to die for) and very filling. The meat are cooked nicely, but the rice doesn't exactly taste like Java rice haha. It's more of plain rice plus color. The restaurant that I really wanted to go was Cafe by the Ruins, because of the reviews I read about it. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to go there during our trip. Oh well, I guess I'll have to try it when I visit Baguio again.

Do you have any favorite restaurant or food place in Baguio? I'd love to hear it, so that I'd know where to eat next time haha!
